Chapter 3: First kiss

I said this b4 but this story is not about my life sure it may have thing I want like Nicholas coming 2 see me again but somethings I don't want as well. for example Nicholas leaving me and having a gf~is that something I would want? lol. not really if u said yes. So any way right now I'm going 2 start chapter 3!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

Chapter 3: First kiss

Everyone else came a few minutes later after Tori gave me his gift. Then we had the party and left. Nothing much really happened. My dad called though and apologized and, of course, I forgave him. I'm his daughter after all, right?

This was acutally the only fun thing I've done for a long time because of the SAT's coming in May of the next year. I used all my extra time to study for it, ever since the last year. From the looks of it, so was Tori. He really didn't come out of his room unless for dinner or to take a shower. 

There was something I totally forgot, though: The School Festival. 

The next day I got up and went to school as usual. And as soon as I went to homeroom...

"MIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" My whole homeroom said as I walked in. I jumped as soon as I heard. 

"What the hell? You guys scared me." I said with my hand over my heart, "See? my heart's still beating!"

"That doesn't matter!" Elizabeth said (a girl from my class) "The School Festival's coming soon."

"SO...?" I asked.

"Come on You thought of the ideas for the last 2 years and they all turned out a success." Andrew(a guy from my homeroom) said.

"So you guys are expecting me to come up with another idea?"

"Yep!" They all said.

I went to my seat, "*sigh* Let's see...I think we should do the play again..." 

"A play, again?" They all said.

"I think it's fun, plus everyone can put in some thing in it."

"It was really fun....''

"Yeah! I think we should do it." I heard.

"So what's going the play going to be about, Mia?"

"What do you mean?'' I said.

"You are going to write the play, aren't you?"

"I don't want to...I got to use all extra time to study for the SAT's~or else..."

"Or else...what?"

"My dad will...uh...I really don't want to talk about it..." I bluffed. 

"So what are we going to do...?"

"I say..." I thought about it, "A disney movie!"

"A disney movie...?" Everyone (and I mean every one) said.

"Yeah! Everyone loves disney movies! It's kinda easy to do!"

"I love disney movies..." some girl said, "Let's do it!"

"YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Everyone said.

"So...what movie should we do...?" I asked everyone.

''Pocohantis!" I heard, "Cinderella!" "Beauty and the Beast!" "Anastasia."

"THE LITTLE MERMAID!!"A girl yelled. We all just stared at her, "You...guys are right that's outragoius." 

"Putting that aside, let's vote!"I said up at the board, "Who wants pocohantis?" two people raised their hand, I wrote it on the board, "Cinderella?" One person raised their hand. And I put that person on the board, "Beauty and the Beast?" 7 people raise their hands, "Finally Anastasia?" 7 people again. I put the chalk down, "Looks like we have a tie, between beauty and the beast and Anastatia." 

"Then you choose which one, Mia."Jessica said.

"Why me?" I said.

"Because u didn't vote, moron..." Tori said with his book right in front of his eyes.

"Fine...." Which one should I choose? hmm.... My favorite is... "I've decided!"

"What is it...?"

"Anastatia."

"Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!"I heard almost half of the class say.

"You know what? Mia should be the writer of the script."

"I told You guys... I can't I have to study...."

"I'll write the script!!!" Michelle/Mandy said.

"Ok Michelle will write the script." I said.

"It's MANDY!!!"

A week later Michelle came to school w/ a finished script for everyone in the class.

"Wow...seems nice!" People said.

"I still like Mia's script better from freshman year..." A girl said.

"Ooooh There's a kissing part in the end...good work Mandy!" Jessica said, 

"You know who should play Anastasia and Dimitri, Mia and Tori!" June said.

"WHAT?" Both Tori and I said.

"Well it makes sense, I mean u guys do act like them. You guys have fights but deep deep inside you love eachother very much..." Jessica said.

"Yeah!!!!!!!! You guys should totally do it!!!!!!!!!!!" The whole class said.

"Damnit...but I don't wanna..."I whined.

"Ok lets have a vote...Who wants Tori and Mia to Be togeth--I mean Play Anastasia and Dimtri?" Ashley said.

Every one except 4 people raised their hands, Tori, Michelle, Sam, and I. 

"Then it's decided...You guys are going to play them!!" 

"I hate you all..." I said. I looked at Tori, who seemed to be stunned, and very very red at that time. "Are you alright?" I asked him.

"Just a headac--"then he looked up and turned even redder, "People are so reatarded..."

"I agree..." he looked at me and shook his head.

"It's not fair..." Sam said while Tori, him and I were going home, "Why do you get to play that role?"

"Oh just shut up will you?" I said, "It's not like either of us is happy about this."

We got near home, "I guess I'll see you guys later, Alright?" Sam said

"Fine, bye," I said to him. I got the key out and put it in the door. 

"Ryan....we're home?"No response, "Are you here?" I said as I went to his room, he wasn't there. "He's not home...weird." Tori was really quiet. "What's up with you? You haven't been talking to much..."

''I'm...just a little tired...." He said really softly, as he put down his bag on a chair. His face was a little red.

"Are you sick? Let me check..." I put my hand on his forehead, It's burning. "You're sick, go get some sleep, I'll make some thing to eat." 

"God damnit," he said as he went to his room. 

I changed first then started to cook some rice, I feel like a mom. Or a house wife...

I decided to make porage for him.

(20 min. pass by...)

"The porage is ready Tori..." I said as I walked into his room. He wasn't resting but actually doing SAT prep. books. "What are you doing?"

"SAT books, what does it look like?" He said.

"Shouldn't you be resting?" I asked.

"Shouldn't you be shuting up?"He replied.

"You're cruel...here," I said passing him the bowl of porage.

"Thanks," He said. I sat down next to him. "Are you pissed?"

"Why would I be pissed?"

"Play..."

"Well no duh I am. I'm used to it already though." 

"Oh..." At that moment he took a spoon ful of the porage I made.

''It's not bad...surprisingly..."

"If you weren't sick I would have hurt you....."At that moment his face came really close to mine, "Too close..."

"I'm sorry.....Mia..." My eyes widened as I saw his lips brush on mine. Then his head falls to the side.

"Moron! I'm home!!!"I stood there stunned, "What are you doing in here?"

"Tori's sick, I have to go get some medicine, I'll see you."

I went right passed him and headed out the door.

That..just....now was that my...FIRST KISS!!?????

Helloo everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How r u doing? Did u like the last post? I know it was short but all my first chapters are always short lol!!! So anyway... this is chapter 2 of it here we go!!!

Chapter 2: Close to me

I saw that blurry face again so close to mine. My eyes suddenly opened to see the ceiling of my room, "God DAMNIT! Why THE HELL AM I HAVING THESE DREAMS?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled into my pillow.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Are you possesed?" I looked at the door not to see  my brother.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!TORI... YOU PERVERT!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Then I see my brother's face come to the door,"He lives here don't you remember moron?" "Orange hair...?" I, at that moment, remembered what happend yesterday, "oh yeah... sorry... tee hee."

Ryan just looked at Tori,"I feel bad for you, you have to be with her all day long, it must be horrible."

"Yeah I'm used to it though." Tori laughed.

"You guys are cruel.."

"We're supposed to be." They both said.

I got out of bed and headed towards the bathroom to take a shower. After I did I went to go dry my hair and put on my uniform. 

I got my bag and headed out for school. Tori already had went out just before so I caught up to him. 

"Wait up!" I said.

        He stopped in his tracks, ''Do you really want other people to find out that we live together now?"

"No, but I've walked to school with you before haven't I?"

"But...Never mind...do what you want."

It became silent...really silent.

"MIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TORI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I heard from behind me. I turned around and saw June running up. 

"Hey June!" I said.

"Isn't Your brithday tomorrow?"

Tori and I looked at eachother,"Is it really...?" He said. 

"Yeah You didn't remember?"

"No...Not really....''*******************************************************************************

I didn't want to have my brithday, it meant I was getting older. And it might sound stupid, but I really didn't want to get older, it kind of scared me. 

I came home that day to see Ryan reading. 

"You're reading...That's a first."

        ''Like you read...Oh! Papa called today."

I was astounded he never did call too much,"What did he say?"

"He's coming tomarrow. For your birthday."

"Really?! I'm so excited. I really want to see him...he hasn't came to visit since the summer..." I looked at Ryan, "Do you miss him?"

"Of course I do...He's my dad."

"Good!"

I picked up the phone, "who are you calling?" Ryan asked.

"Papa of course!"

"Why?"

"You know how he is, he doesn't really keep his promises so I'm calling him so I can confirm he's coming tomomarrow."

"Right.''

*Beep* *Beep*

"Uh...Hello?" I heard my dad's familar voice.

"Papa it's me Mia!"

"Oh Hi Mia, How are you? How was your day?"

"Great! Ryan told me that you're coming tomorrow!"

"Yeah for sure I'm coming tomorrow."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Swear?"

"I swear."

"Good. I'll see you then ok?"

"Ok see you, Bye."

"Byepapa!"

    I woke up that next morning to not my alarm clock, or scary dream, but the phone. I grunted and I got out of bed. "Hello...?" I said.

"Mia?" I heard the voice say, it was Tori's mom's voice,"Happy birthday!"

"How did you know it was my birthday?"

"Your mom told me..."

"Oh....So do want to wish Tori a happy birthday?"

"You read my mind..."

"Ok... wait a moment." I walked to where Tori's temperary room was and opened his door.

"Tori! Wake up! Would you?"

His eyes suddenly opened,"Mia...? What are you doing...?"

"Your mom's on the Phone."

He got up his hair a mess, his blue eyes looked lazy and mad (More than usual), it looked kind of cute. He held out his hand,"Give me it." 

I blushed, "Here..."

He held the phone for a minute in his hands, "Happy...Happy birthday Mia." 

I smiled a little, "Thanks...You too." 

        I got of there feeling embarrassed for some reason. 

**********************************************************************************           But After that I didn't have interest in anything that whole day, because I was so anxoius to see my father again. I didn't care about the gifts I got or anything like that. I just really really wanted to see him.

"I'm going home see ya--"

"Wait won't you stay for just a bit?" Jessica asked.

"No My father's coming home."

"But-- we have a party for you and Tori!!!You can't just leave and not come!"

"A party? For ME? Why?"

"It's your birthday~duh!!!!!!!!!!"

"Then....I'll come back, I promise!"

"Alright You better COME!!"

"Fine I will. Don't you worry." I smiled, I was excited about 2 things now. 

I have such great friends!!! I thought as I ran to the bus station.

I soon as I got off the bus I ran immeadiatly home and barged in so excited,"PAPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" But I didn't see anyone beside my mom and brother. 

"Where's papa?"

"He just called..." My mom said.

"AND....?"

"He's not going to come," Ryan said.

"You're lying! You're A BIG LIAR! MOM TELL ME HE'S LYING!"

"This time...he's.... not."

I felt tears welling in my eyes, "I should have....knew he ...wasn't going to come."

"Mia it's al--" My mom said before I ran out of the house. 

Why...? Why didn't he come? Why did he lie and say he was going to come. 

I ran as fast as I could. I didn't know where I was going but I didn't want to go home or to school. It was just going to remind me of my father. 

I ran into the park where Nicholas confessed to Rachel. I sat on the top of where the slide was. 

This place...it's so nostalgic. 

I remembered how my father used to take me here. And how I used to ride the slide right next me. It brought tears to my eyes. At that time My family wasn't going  through this. That was the time was when we were always together. 

"MIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I heard as my eyes were closed.

*STOMP* *STOMP*

"Mia...I finally found you...*huff*" I opened my eyes to see Tori right in front of me. He looked exhausted and tired, "what are you doing here? You should be at school."

"I-I don't want to... how did you know I was here?"

He bent down and started to sit with me. I felt his hand go on my head, he was patting my head, "When I was little...Whenever I used to "attempt" to run away, I always to come here, and sit right where you are right now."

"Your dad didn't show, right?"

I nodded, "This Proves that he...he doesn't care about me. H-he left me and my brother. You would think he would at least come and visit his daughter's birthday or come see his son when he comes back ofrom three years of college, but that's the thing he never actuallythought about my brother and I."

"Your a moron! How could your dad not care about you?! Did you even try looking at how he's feeling? His children don't live him and his wife hates him! Don't you think that if he came that would hurt you guys even more? Your Parents will fight again and on your birthday as well. do you really want that?"

"You're...You're right! I've been treating him like that," My tears were rolling down my face,"I'm such a horrible person---"

I felt arms going around my body and squeezing it in a hug; Tori was hugging me. But somehow, this time, it was different. He was holding me tightly, as if he really cared about how I felt; as if he knew how I felt.

"You're not horrible, you just want to feel like you're wanted, and that's not wrong. I...Know how you feel...but there are many people who do care about you including your dad, so there's no meaning to be feeling like that right?"

I nodded.

"Then Let's go."

''Where?"

"School, they were having a party for both of us."He took out his cell phone and called someone, "I found her. Tell everyone to head back to school."

"No one's here yet." He said as soon as we got there. It was silent for a while as we waited there, "Mia! I know what to do. Let's go to the top of the school building. I got something to show you.''

I shrugged, "Why not?" He took my hand as we ran through the doors and went up the stairs, it was exhilirating. My heart was beating fast, it hurt but it felt nice as well.

        As soon as we got up there, we had to catch our breathes.

"What's there to see up here?" I said to him. 

"Here look," he pointed. I looked to see the hypnotizining and mezmerizing lights from all of NYC. It was so pretty, I had almost forgot that we were 8 stories up high. 

"It's beautiful isn't it?'' He asked.

"I like it up here...I guess..." I replied. 

He seemed to space out for a while, he just was looking at the scenery,"In the begining of highschool I would always come up here at around this time. I didn't want...want to go to home where no one was home...so I stayed up here. It always seemed...to calm me down."

"You seem calm."

"...Oh! I forgot, your birthday gift..." He got it out of his pocket, then he threw a bag that said "Happy Birthday!!". "Here" he said.

"I didn't get you any thing though."

"I Owe you for Christmas last year, so just open it."

"...Okay whatever you say." I took the bag and opened it and see a little box. I opened that little box and saw two rings that had little bunnies on them. I looked at my braclet that Nicholas gave me, "The same pink Bunnies."

"I know you're not a jewlery person, but that was the only thing I could think of giving you, sorry if you don't --"

"It's so adorable!!!!!!!! I love bunnies. But why is there 2?"

"I'm not sure my self but...I think that Your suppose to give it to someone close to you."

"Close to me...?" I thought about that and... "Here then," I said with one of the rings in my hand. 

"What do you mean?"

"You're very close to me, You understand what I'm feeling immeadiatly, and not to mention but you care about me, so I think you should get this one." I extended my hand, "Here take it."

"I'm a guy though.."

"I'm not asing you to wear it just keep it for me, okay?"

He nodded, "Okay."                    

   

  

  

             

Promise Part 3: Chapter 1

Chapter 1: My Horrible Attributes.

I saw a familiar face as I lay there seemingly unconscious. I didn’t understand what was going on. That boy’s face (which was blurry) was coming towards mine. I didn’t want it.

I closed my eyes, “NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!” I yelled as I opened my eyes seeing pink wallpaper, “Oh it was a dream….” I looked at my alarm clock “7:04” it said. I got up staggering heading toward the bathroom. That day was the first day of my junior year in high school.

I took a shower, got out, put on some clothes, and headed for school. Honestly, I didn’t want to go to school, because I was too preoccupied with that dream.

“Just who was that guy…?” I said to myself, then suddenly…

“What guy?” I heard from behind me. I turned around and saw Sam.

“Oh it’s you,” I said with a sigh.

“You didn’t answer my question.” He demanded.

“It’s none of your business…Anyway why are you here?”

“You’ll find out…eventually.” He paused, “So for now let’s just say that I’m walking you to school.”

“Walking me to school…eh?” At that very moment I started to run, “SCREW YOU THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He looked confused then realized what had happened, “WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!”

He started to chase after me, but luckily I made to school before he caught up to me.

“AH…*cough* *cough* I’m safe…from that …stalker…” I said while catching my breath. Then I looked at my new schedule and went to my new homeroom. As soon as I walked in I saw all my closest friends and that included Tori. He was sitting and reading a book. I said hello to everyone then went to Tori.

“Hey,” I said to him. His eyes looked up from his book and looked into my eyes. He put the book down and said,”Hey, moron, how have you been.”

“Great....how' s your leg?" I asked.

"Fine...I guess----."

At that moment We heard, "TORI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" from behind us. And the next thing I know I am pushed down and I land right on a chair.

"What The HELL? OW!"I look up from the ground to see a girl with blonde hair, talking with Tori, "You know you could say 'sorry.'" I said to her as I got up.

"Tori I missed you so much," she ignored me.

"Who...are you again?" Tori said.

"Seriously, you could, at the very least, say 'excuse me.'" I said pissed off.

"You don't remember?" She said.

"No hence the question "who are you again?'"

Infuriated, I said,"God, this is why I hate prissy girls like you"

"So-rry! Would you shut up now?" She said to me. Then she looked at Tori, "You were my Prince in shining armor,"

"Isn't that supposed to be a Knight?" Tori and I both said.

"SAME THING!" She yelled.

I shut up. Then Tori started to think,"...Oh...I remember you, your that girl from that playground about.... 6 years ago....Michelle...righ---"

"Mandy, is my name,"she said as I started to laugh.

What a prince/knight...!

"Sorry," he said.

"It's alright! You can call me anything!"

"Anyway, are you alright,"he said at me, his blue eyes shining, while his face was coming close to mine, worried. My face felt hot. Mandy was glaring at me.

Remembering the dream, I instictively put my hand over his face and said, "I'm fine"

"That's good--"

"MIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" we heard from behind us again. I looked behind me to see one of my life's horrible attributes...SAM.

"YOU STALKER...WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

"Well starting from today....I go to school...Here..."

"EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

************************************************************************************ There was one more new person who was  new besides those 2 scary people.

"The next person whose new to our homeroom is, Ivan." Our teacher said.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ivan Rojas!" he said politley. he had dark brown hair and light brown eyes. 

"I know him...'' Jessica mumbled to herself, "I don't know from where though..."

"What?" I said. 

"Nothing!" she smiled her big smile.

***********************************************************************************And to think there was more that added to that horrible horrible day. It all started off with talking to Tori after school was over. This was apparently the second time I actually talked to him that day.

"So what's with that girl?" I asked him curiously.

"Michelle?" he asked back.

"I thought her name Mandy.... anyway yeah."

"Yeah...she's annoying,"

"I've noticed," I said as laughed a little.

"You shouldn't be smilibg like that, You've got your own problem as well."

I remembered Sam,"ugh...Don't remind me," I changed the subject,"Anything new that happened in your life?"

"Yeah I guess ... My parents are going to england...---"

"WHAT? WHY?" I yelled.

"That was my ear....Any way My grandfather's sick."

"Oh.... so they're leaving you here by yourself?"

"I'll be living with my mom's best friend."

"For how long though?"

"As long as it takes, I guess."

"You're...still going to school here....Right?'' I asked hesitently.

"Yeah... of course," he said.

Relieved, "*sigh* Good."

He smiled and pat my head, "You're such a moron,"

"MIA!!!!!! WAIT UP!!!!!!!" Sam's voice said. I started to run.

"I'll see you later Tori!!!!! BYE!!!!" I waved my hand as I ran.

"God what's with that guy, he's so creepy!" I said as entered my home.

"Which Guy?" My mom's voice said.

"Mom? Your home earlier than expected,"

"That's because your br---"

*knock* knock*

"I'll get it.... it's probably sam any ways." I mumbled to my self.

*knock* *knock* *knock*

"I'm coming.... sheesh," I opened the door to see a person who looked like my brother.

"Mia!" The stranger said.

"Who are you?" I said.

"It's me.." he said, "..RYAN!"

"what are you doing---what HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR!?? IT'S ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"It's nice right," he said concetededly.

"Hey Ryan," she said then she looked at his hair,"ORANGE...WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MY CHILD!!!!!!"

"Mom, it's me." he said.

She calmed down,"What did you do to your hair?"

"I told you guys that I would be doing it,"

"AHH IT BLINDED MY EYES!!!!" I said.

"SHUT UP!....Where's Papa?" Mom and I just looked eachother, "He left didn't he?" he said breaking the silence.

I felt tears coming to my eyes "Yeah" I nodded.

"oh," He replied.

"Anyway, there's someone whose going to be living with us for the time being,"Mom said, changing the subject.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"My best friend's son, that's where Ryan comes in, I can't leave you two alone, so ryan's going to be living with you."

"How old is he?" Ryan asked.

"Same age as Mia."

"Oh that's why."

*knock* *knock*

My brother and Mom went to the door and opened it, "Hello," my brother said with his plastered smile on. I went to my room for a bit to straighten things up.

"Oh my...you've gotten older haven't you Ryan?" the Lady said.

"Well you know how they grow up so fast," Mom said with a bitter sweet smile on her face, "I miss my babies though."

"You haven't changed a bit have you," She said to my mom.

This voice... I walked out of my room to see who it was.

"Mia! Your daughter is MIA?'' I couldn't believe my eyes.

Then I saw a familar face come through the door, he looked directly at me, and shook his head.

I pointed my finger at him, "TORI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????????"
